Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe recommended dose is:\u003cbr\u003e• Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age (in adolescents weighing \u0026gt; 40 kg):\u003cbr\u003eInitial dose: take 1 or 2 capsules (200 mg) with water. If necessary, take additional doses of 1 or 2 capsules (200 mg), but do not exceed a total dose of 6 capsules in a 24-hour period.\u003cbr\u003eThe interval between doses should not be less than 4 hours for the 200 mg dose.\u003cbr\u003e• Patients over 65 years of age: the amount to be taken should be determined by their doctor, as a reduction in the usual dose may be necessary.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest time necessary to relieve symptoms.
