It can be used to treat the following conditions:\u003cbr\u003eAdults and adolescents aged 14 years and over:\u003cbr\u003e• Joint and muscle injuries (e.g. sprains, dislocations, bruises, back pain, sports injuries).\u003cbr\u003e• Tendonitis (e.g. lateral epicondylitis).\u003cbr\u003eAdults only (aged 18 years and over):\u003cbr\u003e• Mild arthritis of the knees or fingers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eContraindications:\u003cbr\u003eDo not use Voltaren ActiPro:\u003cbr\u003e• If you are allergic to diclofenac or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs used to treat pain, fever or inflammation, such as ibuprofen or aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePrecautions:\u003cbr\u003eTalk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before using Voltaren ActiPro.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.\u003cbr\u003eDo not use Voltaren ActiPro if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy. You should not use Voltaren ActiPro during the first 6 months of pregnancy unless absolutely necessary and recommended by your doctor. If you need treatment during this period, you should use the lowest dose for the shortest possible time.ActiProActiPro\u003cbr\u003eOral forms (e.g. tablets) of diclofenac may cause side effects in the fetus. It is not known whether the same risk exists when Voltaren ActiPro is used on the skin.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDuring breastfeeding, Voltaren ActiPro should only be used on the advice of a doctor, as diclofenac passes into breast milk in small amounts. However, Voltaren ActiPro should not be applied to the breasts by breastfeeding mothers, nor elsewhere on large areas of skin or for a longer period of time\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDriving and using machines:\u003cbr\u003eVoltaren ActiPro does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHow to take:\u003cbr\u003eAlways use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. One gram of gel contains 11.6 mg of diclofenac diethylamine, corresponding to 10 mg of diclofenac sodium.
