Exoterfyn 78.22 mg\/ml medicated nail lacquer should not be used during pregnancy unless clearly necessary.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis medicine may pass into breast milk. If you are breastfeeding, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine.\u003cbr\u003eDo not allow infants to come into contact with treated areas. Ensure that infants do not touch treated nails with their mouths.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDriving and using machines:\u003cbr\u003eExoterfyn 78.22 mg\/ml medicated nail lacquer does not affect the ability to drive or use machines. Method of administration:\u003cbr\u003eAlways use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor application to fingernails or toenails.\u003cbr\u003eInstructions for use\u003cbr\u003eStep 1: Before applying Exoterfyn 78.22 mg\/ml medicated nail lacquer, remove any nail polish or other cosmetic products from the nails and the surrounding skin.\u003cbr\u003eStep 2: Clean and dry the affected areas thoroughly.\u003cbr\u003eStep 3: Unscrew the bottle cap.\u003cbr\u003eStep 4: Dip the applicator into the nail lacquer.\u003cbr\u003eStep 5: Using the applicator, apply a thin layer of Exoterfyn 78.22 mg medicated nail lacquer over the entire surface of the affected nail, 5 mm of the surrounding skin, and—if possible—under the free edge of the nail and onto the skin beneath the nail.\u003cbr\u003eStep 6: Wait approximately 30 seconds for the lacquer to dry completely before resuming other activities.\u003cbr\u003eStep 7: Close the bottle tightly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTreated nails should not be washed or wetted for at least 6 hours. Therefore, application in the evening before going to bed, after a shower or bath, is recommended. Normal hygiene routines may be followed after this time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExoterfyn 78.22 mg medicated nail lacquer does not require a special remover. It can be easily removed by washing the nails with water. Filing the nail is not necessary. Duration of treatment\u003cbr\u003eDuring the first 4 weeks, apply Exoterfyn 78.22 mg medicated nail lacquer to the affected nails once daily. After this period, apply Exoterfyn 78.22 mg medicated nail lacquer once weekly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTreatment should be continued until each treated nail becomes clear or its appearance is significantly improved. In some cases, additional oral therapy may be required.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGenerally, the duration of treatment is 6 months for fingernails and approximately 9–12 months for toenails.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you have any further questions about this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eComposition:\u003cbr\u003e- The active substance is terbinafine.
