It may cause a burning sensation on the affected skin.\u003cbr\u003eButylhydroxytoluene may cause local skin reactions (e.g., contact dermatitis) or irritation of the eyes and mucous membranes. Method of administration:\u003cbr\u003eAlways use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis medicine is for use on the skin (cutaneous administration). Apply a thin layer of Octizy gel over the entire area to be treated until it is completely covered.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWait at least 1 or 2 minutes before performing any further procedures, such as applying a dressing.
