The product is flavored and may therefore sometimes be taken voluntarily by dogs (voluntary consumption in \u0026gt;80% of cases in the animals studied). If the animal does not voluntarily accept the tablet, it may be administered directly into the oral cavity. When concurrent treatment against cestodes is indicated, it is recommended to administer the product once, followed by the use of a monovalent product containing only milbemycin oxime for the remaining three weeks of the treatment period.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn endemic areas, regular administration of the product every 4 weeks will prevent angiostrongylosis by reducing the burden of immature adults (L5) and adult parasite infections, when concurrent treatment against cestodes is indicated.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor the treatment of *Thelazia callipaeda* infection, milbemycin oxime should be administered in two treatment courses at a 7-day interval. When concurrent treatment against cestodes is indicated, the product may replace a monovalent product containing only milbemycin oxime.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSpecifications:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eParasite resistance to any specific class of anthelmintics may develop following frequent, repeated use of an anthelmintic from that class.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eConcurrent treatment of all animals in the household is recommended.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo develop an effective parasite control program, local epidemiological information and the dog's risk of exposure should be considered; professional advice is recommended.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn cases of *D. caninum* infestation, concurrent treatment of intermediate hosts, such as fleas and lice, should be considered to prevent re-infestation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAdverse reactions:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn very rare cases, systemic signs (lethargy), neurological signs (muscle tremors and ataxia), and\/or gastrointestinal signs (vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia, and hypersalivation) have been observed in dogs following administration of the milbemycin oxime and praziquantel combination.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn very rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions have been observed following administration of the product.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePrecautions:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStudies conducted with milbemycin oxime indicate that the margin of safety in Collies and related breeds is lower than in other breeds. In these dogs, the recommended dose must be administered under strict veterinary supervision.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNo studies have been conducted on the product's tolerance in young puppies of these breeds.\u003cbr\u003eClinical signs of overdose in Collies are similar to those observed in the general dog population in cases of overdose. In dogs with a high number of migrating microfilariae, treatment can sometimes lead to hypersensitivity reactions, such as pale mucous membranes, vomiting, tremors, labored breathing, or hypersalivation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese reactions are associated with the release of proteins from dead or dying microfilariae and do not represent a direct toxic effect of the product. Therefore, use of the product in dogs with microfilaraemia is not recommended.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn areas at risk of heartworm disease, or if a dog has traveled to geographical areas where heartworm disease is a risk, veterinary advice should be sought before using the product to rule out any concurrent *Dirofilaria immitis* infestation. In the event of a positive diagnosis, adulticide therapy is recommended before administering the product. No studies have been conducted on severely debilitated dogs or those with severely impaired renal or hepatic function. Use of the product in such animals is not recommended unless based on a benefit-risk assessment by the responsible veterinarian.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTapeworm infestation is uncommon in dogs under 4 weeks of age. Therefore, treatment of dogs under 4 weeks of age with a combination product may not be necessary.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe tablets are flavored; therefore, they must be stored in a secure place and kept out of the reach of animals.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUse during pregnancy, lactation, or the laying period\u003cbr\u003eThe veterinary medicinal product may be used in breeding dogs, including pregnant and lactating females.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStorage: No special storage conditions are required.
