Indications:
Caffetin COLDmax contains paracetamol, an analgesic that relieves pain and reduces fever, and phenylephrine, a decongestant that unblocks blocked nasal passages.
Caffetin COLDmax is used to relieve symptoms of cold and flu, including relief of general aches, sore throat, headache, nasal congestion and lowering temperature.

Contraindications:
Do not take Caffetin COLDmax:
- if you are allergic to paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Caffetin COLDmax.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Caffetin COLDmax is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines:
To date, there have been no reports of negative effects of Caffetin COLDmax on the ability to drive and use machines.

How to take:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents over 16 years of age and weighing more than 50 kg one sachet
The dose can be repeated every 4 to 6 hours.
Do not take more than 4 sachets in a 24-hour period.
Please note that doses higher than those recommended may cause a risk of very serious liver damage.

Composition:
- The active substances are paracetamol 1000 mg and phenylephrine hydrochloride 12.2 mg (equivalent to phenylephrine base 10.0 mg)
- The other ingredients are ascorbic acid, sugar, aspartame, lemon-menthol flavour (containing: natural lemon oils and flavourings, natural L-menthol, maltodextrin, mannitol (E 421), gluconolactone, gum arabic, sorbitol (E420) and α-tocopherol), sodium saccharin, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide, citric acid and sodium citrate.
