Belbital 30 Tablets – Hair Loss Support

Indications:
This medicine belongs to the group of vitamin-based preparations. Biotin, an ingredient in this product, is a water-soluble vitamin belonging to the B-vitamin group.
Belbital is used to treat biotin deficiency—characterized by symptoms such as hair loss, growth disorders, excessive brittleness of nails and hair, and skin inflammation around the eyes, nose, and mouth—after a doctor has ruled out other causes.
If there is no improvement after 4 weeks, or if you feel worse, consult your doctor.

Contraindications:
Do not take Belbital:
- if you are allergic to biotin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Belbital.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Pregnancy:
The amount of biotin in Belbital far exceeds the recommended daily intake for pregnant women; therefore, the medicine should not be used during pregnancy.
Breastfeeding:
The amount of biotin in Belbital far exceeds the recommended daily intake for breastfeeding women; therefore, the medicine should not be used while breastfeeding.
Fertility:
Animal studies regarding reproductive toxicity are insufficient. Driving and using machines:
Belbital has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.
Belbital contains isomalt
This medicine contains 288.50 mg of isomalt per tablet. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.

Method of administration:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults:
The recommended dose of biotin is 5 mg to 10 mg per day.
The recommended dose of Belbital is 1 tablet per day.
The duration of treatment depends on the nature and progression of the disease. Symptom relief is observed after approximately 4 weeks of use.
If there is no improvement after 4 weeks, the patient should contact the doctor to rule out other causes.

Children and adolescents:
Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended due to insufficient data.

Elderly:
Same doses as for adults.

Patients with hepatic or renal impairment:
There are no special dosage recommendations.
