Precautions:
Not recommended for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use during the menstrual cycle. Chaste tree (Vitex agnus castus) can alter hormone levels in the body, so:
- Caution is recommended when using with oral contraceptives (it could reduce the contraceptive effect), or with medications containing estrogen.
- Not recommended for use with medications such as: dopamine agonists used in Parkinson's disease (it could increase the effect), dopamine antagonists: metoclopramide, antipsychotics (it could reduce the effect).
- Not recommended for use if the existence of an estrogen-dependent malignant tumor (cancer) is suspected (such as in the breasts, ovaries, or uterus).
Not to be consumed by people for whom alcohol consumption is limited/prohibited or who operate vehicles.
