Parasinus Penta, 24 tablets

Indications:
ParaSinus Penta is used to relieve cold and flu symptoms, including fever, headache, muscle aches, sore throat, as well as symptoms associated with sinus inflammation (stuffy nose, sinus pain and runny nose). 

It contains five active ingredients: paracetamol, which relieves pain and lowers your temperature when you have a fever; caffeine, with a mild stimulant effect; phenylephrine hydrochloride, a decongestant that unclogs your nose and sinuses, helping you breathe easier; terpinhydrate, an expectorant that promotes the elimination of secretions from the respiratory tract; vitamin C (ascorbic acid), which helps replace vitamin C that can be lost in the initial stages of colds and flu. 

Contraindications:
Do not use ParaSinus Penta:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to paracetamol, caffeine, phenylephrine hydrochloride, terpinhydrate, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) or any of the other components of ParaSinus Penta.
- if you are pregnant. 
- do not administer to children under 12 years of age. 

Precautions:
Before using ParaSinus Penta, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
ParaSinus Penta should not be used during pregnancy unless your doctor considers it absolutely necessary.
Caution is advised when taking paracetamol during breast-feeding.
Avoid using this medicine during breast-feeding. 

Driving and using machines:
This medicine may cause dizziness. If you feel dizzy while taking this medicine, do not drive or use machines. 

How to use:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

For oral administration.
Always take the lowest effective dose to relieve your symptoms.

Adults, the elderly and adolescents (children over 12 years of age): the usual dose is 1-2 tablets administered every 4-6 hours, without exceeding 8 tablets in 24
hours. The minimum interval between administrations should be 4 hours.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Do not continue treatment for more than 7 days without medical advice.

Children under 12 years of age: ParaSinus Penta is not administered to children under 12 years of age.

If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 days of treatment, the clinical situation should be reassessed.

Composition:
- The active substances are paracetamol, caffeine, phenylephrine hydrochloride, terpinhydrate and ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Each tablet contains paracetamol 500 mg, caffeine 25 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg, terpinhydrate 20 mg and ascorbic acid 38 mg.
- The other ingredients are pregelatinised starch, maize starch, povidone, potassium sorbate, sodium lauryl sulphate, Eurocol sunset yellow (E 110), stearic acid, talc.
