The active substance - Macrogol 3350 is an osmotic laxative that attracts water to the colon and helps the feces to become softer, triggers normal intestinal motility, thus facilitating defecation. Macrogol is not absorbed in the body, being eliminated with the intestinal contents.

Composition:
Each ParkoLax sachet with 13.81 g of powder contains: 13.125 g macrogol (PEG) 3350, electrolytes (sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen carbonate, potassium chloride), colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium saccharin, orange flavor, lemon-lime flavor.

Method of administration:
It is administered to adults and children over 12 years of age. The usual dose is 1-3 sachets per day. One sachet (one dose) of ParkoLax® is dissolved in 125 ml of water. It can be taken at any time, with or without food or drink. It has a pleasant citrus taste. Due to the mild and natural effect, results appear after a few days of the first administration.

Depending on the effect, the dose can be maintained or adjusted, as follows:
-constipation persists: increase the daily dose (up to 3 sachets/day);
-stools with normal frequency and appearance: maintain the starting daily dose;
-watery stools: reduce the dose or stop treatment.

ParkoLax can be used for a longer period of time, without addictive effects and without affecting intestinal motility.
