No-Spa Forte 80 mg 24tab – Antispasmodic for Abdominal & Muscle Spasms

Indications:
No-Spa forte 80 mg tablets is an antispasmodic drug.
This drug is used for the symptomatic treatment of smooth muscle spasm:
- associated with biliary tract diseases - biliary lithiasis, cholangiolithiasis, cholecystitis, pericholecystitis, cholangitis, papillitis;
- associated with urinary tract diseases - renal lithiasis, ureteral lithiasis, pyelitis, cystitis and in spasm of the sphincters of the urinary bladder.
This drug is used in combination with other drugs in the treatment of:
- smooth muscle spasm associated with gastrointestinal tract diseases: gastric or duodenal ulcer, gastritis, spasms of the cardia and pyloric sphincters, enteritis, colitis, spastic colitis accompanied by constipation and forms of irritable bowel syndrome accompanied by flatulence (bloating);
- headaches with a feeling of intracranial tension;
- dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation) associated with gynecological diseases.

Contraindications:
Do not use No-Spa forte 80 mg:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to drotaverine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of No-Spa forte 80 mg.

Before using No-Spa forte 80 mg, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
There is limited information on the use of drotaverine in pregnant women. In animal studies, no toxic effects on pregnancy or fetal development have been demonstrated when this medicine is administered during pregnancy.
As a precautionary measure, it is preferable to avoid the use of No-Spa during pregnancy.
In general, ask your doctor for advice before using any medicine during breastfeeding.
The excretion of drotaverine in breast milk has not been studied in animals. A risk to the newborn/infants cannot be excluded. A decision must be made whether to discontinue breast-feeding or to discontinue/abstain from No-Spa therapy, taking into account the benefit of breast-feeding for the child and the benefit of therapy for the woman.

Driving and using machines:
When administered orally and at recommended doses, drotaverine hydrochloride does not affect the ability to drive or use machines. However, if you experience a feeling of unsteadiness or spinning of the body after taking this medicine, avoid potentially hazardous activities, driving or using machines.

How to use:
Always take No-Spa forte 80 mg exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless your doctor has told you otherwise, the usual dose for adults is 1-3 No-Spa forte 80 mg tablets per day (divided into 2-3 doses).

Use in children and adolescents:
The use of drotaverine in children and adolescents has not been evaluated in clinical studies. No-Spa forte 80 mg is not administered to children and adolescents.

Composition:
- The active substance is drotaverine hydrochloride. Each tablet contains 80 mg drotaverine hydrochloride.
