Solpadeine 24 Effervescent Tablets

Solpadeine is used for:
Solpadeine effervescent tablets are recommended for the rapid relief of pain that occurs in rheumatism, sciatica and lumbago. They are also recommended for the treatment of headaches, migraines, menstrual pain, in case of dislocations, toothache, neuralgia, sinusitis, sore throat and fever, as well as for the relief of symptoms of colds and flu.

Contraindications:
Do not use Solpadeine:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to paracetamol, caffeine, codeine, other opioid analgesics or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
- in children under 12 years of age, 

Precautions:
Before using Solpadeine, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Pregnancy:
Epidemiological studies in pregnant women have not revealed any toxic effects of paracetamol at the recommended doses, however codeine is not recommended during pregnancy. Therefore, Solpadeine is not recommended during pregnancy.
Breast-feeding:
Paracetamol and caffeine are excreted in breast milk, but not in clinically significant quantities.
Do not take codeine during breast-feeding. Codeine and morphine pass into breast milk. 

Driving and using machines:
Solpadeine may cause dizziness or drowsiness. You should not drive or use machines until you know how this medicine affects you. 

How to use:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Solpadeine tablets dissolve in water.
Adults: Take 2 tablets dissolved in a glass of water, 1-4 times a day, as needed. Do not repeat the dose at intervals of less than 4 hours or exceed 4 doses (8 tablets) in 24 hours.

Children (7-12 years): 1/2 tablet to 1 tablet, dissolved in a glass of water, 1-4 times a day. The administration will not be repeated at an interval of less than 4 hours. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Not recommended for children under 7 years of age.
Do not give Solpadeine to children for more than 3 days without the advice of a doctor. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor. Do not exceed the established dose. In case of exceeding the recommended dose, consult a doctor immediately, even if you do not feel sick.

Composition:
- The active substances are paracetamol, caffeine and codeine. One tablet contains paracetamol 500 mg, caffeine anhydrous 30 mg and codeine phosphate hemihydrate 8 mg.
- The other ingredients are: sodium hydrogen carbonate, sorbitol powder, sodium saccharin, sodium lauryl sulfate, anhydrous citric acid, anhydrous sodium carbonate, povidone, dimethicone, purified water.
