Tonsilotren 40 Tablets – Sore Throat & Tonsil Relief

Indications:
Tonsilotren is used for:
Upper respiratory tract conditions, such as: acute tonsillitis, catarrhal pharyngitis, chronic pharyngitis, chronic and recurrent pharyngitis, tonsillar hypertrophy in children, and post-operative treatment following tonsillectomy.

Contraindications:
Do not take Tonsilotren:
- if you are allergic to Atropinum sulfuricum, Hepar sulfuris, Kalium bichromicum, Silicea, Mercurius bijodatus, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Tonsilotren.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Tonsilotren should be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding only if your doctor considers it absolutely necessary.

Driving and using machines:
Tonsilotren has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.

Method of administration:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Children aged 2–12 years: Initial dose (days 1–2): 1 tablet every 2 hours; continue with 1 tablet 3 times a day. 3 times daily, 6–8 weeks; repeat several times a year.
Children over 12 years and adults: Initial dose for 2 days—1–2 tablets per hour; continue with 1–2 tablets 3 times daily for 6–8 weeks; repeat several times a year.

For children with tonsillar hyperplasia, the recommended dose is 1 tablet 3 times daily, with a treatment duration of 6–8 weeks. It is recommended to keep the tablets in the mouth for as long as possible.

- Active substances: Atropinum sulfuricum trit. D5 12.5 mg, Hepar sulfuris trit. D3 10.0 mg, Kalium bichromicum trit. D4 50.0 mg, Silicea trit. D2 5.0 mg, Mercurius bijodatus trit. D8 25.0 mg.
- Other ingredients: sugar, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate.
