2x Solpadeine Extra 16 Tablets – Fast Relief for Moderate Pain, Headache & Fever

Indications:
Solpadeine Extra can be used in patients over 12 years of age for the short-term relief of moderate pain that requires more relief than other painkillers such as paracetamol, ibuprofen or acetylsalicylic acid alone.

It can be used for headaches, migraines, with or without warning signs (aura), toothache (including pain after extraction), menstrual pain, neuralgia, sprains and strains, back pain, bone and joint pain caused by arthritis and rheumatism, sciatica.

The tablets contain three active ingredients: paracetamol, codeine and caffeine. Codeine and paracetamol are both painkillers. Codeine belongs to a group of medicines called opioid analgesics, which work to relieve pain. It can be used on its own or in combination with other painkillers. The caffeine works to make paracetamol even more effective. The triple action of the ingredients provides rapid relief of moderate pain.

Contraindications:
Do not take Solpadeine Extra:
- if you have ever had an allergic reaction to paracetamol, codeine, caffeine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Solpadeine Extra.

Pregnancy, fertility and breast-feeding:
If you are pregnant, talk to your doctor before taking Solpadeine Extra. Do not take Solpadeine Extra while breast-feeding. Codeine and morphine pass into breast milk.

Driving and using machines:
Do not drive or use machines or tools while taking Solpadeine Extra as it may make you feel dizzy or drowsy.

How to take:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Take 1 or 2 tablets dissolved in at least a glass of water (200 ml), every 4 - 6 hours, if necessary.
Do not take more often than once every 4 hours.
Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours (equivalent to 4 g paracetamol, 102.4 mg codeine phosphate hemihydrate and 240 mg caffeine).

Composition:
- The active substances are paracetamol, codeine phosphate hemihydrate and caffeine. Each tablet contains 500 mg paracetamol, 12.8 mg codeine phosphate hemihydrate and 30 mg caffeine.
- The other ingredients are: sorbitol (E420), sodium saccharin, sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium lauryl sulfate, citric acid, anhydrous sodium carbonate, povidone K25, dimethicone 350.
