2x Fasconal 20 Tablets – Fast Relief for Headache, Pain & Fever, Codeine

Indications:
Fasconal contains a combination of four active substances: acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol, codeine and caffeine.
Fasconal is an analgesic used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of moderate to severe pain, with various localizations: headache, migraine, neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, dental or ENT pain, dysmenorrhea and the treatment of febrile conditions.

Contraindications:
Do not use Fasconal:
- if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or other salicylates, to paracetamol, caffeine, codeine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Fasconal, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Pregnancy:
Fasconal is contraindicated during pregnancy.
If necessary, paracetamol can be used during pregnancy. You should use the lowest possible dose that helps reduce pain and/or fever and for the shortest possible time. Contact your doctor if the pain and/or fever does not decrease or if you need to take the medicine more often.
Breast-feeding:
Do not take Fasconal during breast-feeding. Codeine and morphine pass into breast milk.

Driving and using machines:
Fasconal has major influence on the ability to drive or use machines. It is therefore contraindicated in people who drive or use machines.

How to use:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults and adolescents over 15 years of age - 1 tablet as needed; if necessary, the dose can be repeated every 6 hours. Do not take more than 4 Fasconal tablets in a 24-hour period.

This medicine should not be taken for more than 3 days. If the pain does not improve after 3 days, ask your doctor for advice.

Composition:
- The active substances are: acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol, caffeine and codeine. Each tablet contains acetylsalicylic acid 200 mg, paracetamol 200 mg, anhydrous caffeine 25 mg and codeine phosphate hemihydrate 10 mg.
- The other ingredients are: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose type 101, colloidal anhydrous silica, pregelatinized starch, talc, sodium stearyl fumarate.
