Precautions:
Before using Ibuprofen Ibuprofen Arena, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
Inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis may have a negative effect on pregnancy and embryonic or foetal development.
Studies show that the use of these substances in early pregnancy may increase the risk of spontaneous abortion, cardiac malformations and gastroschisis.
The risk of cardiovascular malformations may increase from less than 1% to approximately 1.5%, depending on the dose and duration of treatment.
During the first and second trimesters of pregnancy, ibuprofen should not be used unless clearly necessary.
In this case, it is recommended to use the lowest dose for the shortest possible time.
Ibuprofen is excreted in breast milk, but at therapeutic doses and in short-term treatments, the risk to the infant is considered low.
In the case of long-term treatments, it is recommended to discontinue breastfeeding.
The use of ibuprofen may affect fertility and is not recommended for women trying to become pregnant.
It is recommended to discontinue treatment in women who have difficulty conceiving or who are being investigated for infertility.

Driving and using machines:
In general, ibuprofen does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.
However, at high doses or in individual cases, side effects such as fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness or visual disturbances may occur, which may influence this ability.
These effects may be more pronounced in the case of alcohol consumption.

Method of administration:
This medicine is intended for short-term use, for a maximum of 7 days.
If symptoms persist or worsen, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
For adults, adolescents and children over 12 years of age, the recommended initial dose is 400 mg ibuprofen (one capsule), administered at intervals of 4–6 hours.
If pain or fever does not improve, 400 mg can be administered further, without exceeding the maximum dose of 1200 mg (3 capsules) in 24 hours.
The capsules are swallowed whole, with a glass of water, preferably after a meal.
Administration is not recommended in children under 12 years of age.
In elderly patients, dose adjustment is not necessary, but if there are kidney or liver diseases, the dose should be established individually.
