Otipax Ear Drops 16 g – Ear Pain & Inflammation Relief

Indications:
Otipax is indicated for the local symptomatic treatment of certain painful conditions of the middle ear, provided the tympanic membrane is intact:
- acute congestive otitis;
- viral phlyctenular otitis;
- barotraumatic otitis.
Otipax contains two active substances: lidocaine (a local anesthetic) and phenazone (an analgesic and anti-inflammatory).

Contraindications:
Do not use Otipax:
- if you are allergic to phenazone, lidocaine hydrochloride, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Otipax, talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
In the absence of a perforated eardrum, systemic absorption is unlikely. Consequently, under normal conditions of use, this medicine may be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding if necessary.

Driving and using machines:
The medicine does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Method of administration:
The recommended dose is 4 drops of Otipax (ear drops, solution) instilled into the external auditory canal of the painful ear 2–3 times daily by gently squeezing the bottle.
To avoid the unpleasant sensation of cold solution in the ear, it is recommended to warm the bottle slightly in your hand before use.

- The active substances are phenazone 44.83 mg/ml and lidocaine hydrochloride 11.21 mg/ml.
- The other ingredients are: sodium thiosulfate, ethanol, glycerol, purified water.
