Prosinus 20 Tablets – Sinus & Cold Relief

Indications:
Prosinus is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain (e.g., headache, sore throat, sinus pain), fever, nasal congestion, and nasal hypersecretion.

Contraindications:
Do not use Prosinus:
- if you are allergic to paracetamol and pseudoephedrine or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Prosinus.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Pregnancy:
Data on the use of paracetamol in pregnant women are limited.
Human and animal studies have not identified any risk to pregnancy or embryo-foetal development.
Epidemiological studies during pregnancy have not shown teratogenic or foetotoxic effects associated with paracetamol at recommended doses.
As a precautionary measure, it is preferable to avoid using paracetamol during pregnancy.
However, as with other medicines, caution is recommended when administering paracetamol during the first trimester of pregnancy.
Breastfeeding:
Paracetamol is excreted in human milk, but no effects on breastfed newborns/infants are expected at therapeutic doses.
Fertility:
Non-clinical toxicity studies have shown toxic effects on reproductive function. Driving and using machines:
The medicine does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Method of administration:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults (including the elderly) and adolescents over 12 years of age: the recommended dose is 2 Prosinus® film-coated tablets up to 3 times a day, as needed, for symptom relief. The minimum interval between doses is 4 hours. Do not take more than 3 doses in 24 hours.

Composition:
- The active substances are: paracetamol and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. Each film-coated tablet contains 500 mg paracetamol and 30 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.
- The other ingredients are: core – microcrystalline cellulose PH 102, polyvinylpyrrolidone K 30, sodium starch glycolate (type A), talc, maize starch, anhydrous colloidal silica, magnesium stearate; film coating – Opadry II white 85F18422, partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol/PEG 3350, talc.
