Ser Efedrinat 5 mg/ml 10 ml – Nasal Drops for Decongestion & Sinus Relief

Indications:
Ephedrine Serum 5 mg/ml contains ephedrine hydrochloride, the active substance with a decongestant effect.
Symptomatic treatment of acute rhinitis and sinusitis, vasomotor rhinitis, edema following endonasal surgery.

Contraindications:
Do not use Ephedrine Serum 5 mg/ml:
- if you are allergic to ephedrine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Ephedrine Serum 15 mg/ml, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Ephedrine Serum 15 mg/ml can be used during pregnancy only on the advice of a doctor.
Ephedrine hydrochloride is excreted in breast milk. This medicine is not recommended during breast-feeding, due to the risk of cardiovascular side effects (tachycardia) in the infant.

Driving and using machines:
Ephedrine serum 15 mg/ml does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Method of administration:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Children over 12 years
The usual dose is 2-3 drops, in each nostril, 2 times/day, for 3 days;
Adults
The usual dose is 3-4 drops, in each nostril, 3 times/day, for 4-5 days.

Composition:
- The active substance is ephedrine hydrochloride 5 mg/ml. One ml of nasal drops solution contains 5 mg of ephedrine hydrochloride.
