Visine Novo Eye Drops 15 ml – Redness & Eye Irritation Relief

Indications:
Visine Novo is used to treat temporary eye redness caused by minor non-infectious irritations—such as those resulting from smoke, dust, wind, chlorinated water, light, or allergies—in adults, adolescents, and children aged 2 years and older (see section 2).
Children aged 2 to under 6 years should be treated with Visine Novo only upon the recommendation of a healthcare professional.

Contraindications:
Do not use this medicine:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to tetryzoline hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);
- if you have narrow-angle glaucoma;
- in children under 2 years of age.

Precautions:
If you have any of the conditions listed below, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Visine Novo.
You may still be able to use Visine Novo, but it is necessary to discuss it with your doctor if:
- you have severe heart disease (e.g., coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, pheochromocytoma);
- you have benign prostatic hyperplasia;
- you have metabolic disorders (e.g., hyperthyroidism, diabetes, hemoglobin formation disorders);
- you have rhinitis sicca (chronic inflammation of the anterior nasal region);
- you have keratoconjunctivitis sicca (dryness of the conjunctiva or cornea);
- you have glaucoma (an eye condition in which the optic nerve, connecting the eye to the brain, becomes damaged). Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility:
There are no adequate and well-controlled studies regarding the substance tetryzoline in pregnant or breastfeeding women. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you might be pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.

Driving and using machines:
Pupil dilation and blurred vision may occur after using Visine Novo.
In such cases, you must not drive or use machines until your vision returns to normal.

Method of administration:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, check with your doctor or pharmacist.

Children aged 6 years and older, adolescents, and adults:
The recommended dose is 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s), 2–3 times daily, unless otherwise advised by a doctor.
Remove contact lenses beforehand (see "Instructions for contact lens wearers").

Children aged 2 to 6 years:
In children aged 2 to 6 years, Visine Novo should only be used upon the recommendation of a healthcare professional.

Visine Novo is intended for ophthalmic use.
1. Before opening for the first time, remove the tamper-evident ring from the top of the bottle by following the perforations. 2. To open the child-resistant cap, push down and turn it counter-clockwise.
3. After opening the cap, turn the bottle upside down. Tilt your head back slightly.
Gently squeeze the bottle to dispense 1 or 2 drops into the conjunctival sac. To avoid contamination, the bottle tip must not come into contact with anything other than the cap. Never touch the eye with the bottle tip.
4. After application, blink gently for a few seconds to ensure the drops are distributed evenly.
5. Close the cap by turning it clockwise until fully tightened. Never touch the bottle tip.
Keep the bottle closed between applications.

Duration of treatment:
Visine Novo should be used for the shortest time necessary to relieve symptoms and for no more than 5 consecutive days.
Exercise caution with repeated use, as long-term use (even with short breaks of a few days) or excessive use may lead to chronic swelling and/or atrophy of the conjunctiva.
Continuous use may worsen eye redness.
If there is no improvement within 2 days, or if redness worsens or persists, discontinue use and consult your doctor.

Composition:
Active substance: tetryzoline hydrochloride. 1 ml of eye drops contains 0.5 mg of tetryzoline hydrochloride. The other components are: glycerol, hypromellose, macrogol 400, boric acid, disodium phosphate, sodium citrate, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, sodium lactate, glycine, ascorbic acid, glucose, polyquaternium-42, purified water.
