Voltaren ActiPro 100g - to relieve pain and reduce inflammation

Indications:
Voltaren ActiPro contains the active substance diclofenac, which belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is specially designed to be absorbed into the skin by massage.
Voltaren ActiPro is used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation and swelling in painful conditions affecting the joints and muscles. It can be used to treat the following conditions:
Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over:
• Joint and muscle injuries (e.g. sprains, dislocations, bruises, back pain, sports injuries).
• Tendonitis (e.g. lateral epicondylitis).
Adults only (aged 18 years and over):
• Mild arthritis of the knees or fingers.

Contraindications:
Do not use Voltaren ActiPro:
• If you are allergic to diclofenac or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs used to treat pain, fever or inflammation, such as ibuprofen or aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before using Voltaren ActiPro.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
Do not use Voltaren ActiPro if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy. You should not use Voltaren ActiPro during the first 6 months of pregnancy unless absolutely necessary and recommended by your doctor. If you need treatment during this period, you should use the lowest dose for the shortest possible time.ActiProActiPro
Oral forms (e.g. tablets) of diclofenac may cause side effects in the fetus. It is not known whether the same risk exists when Voltaren ActiPro is used on the skin.

During breastfeeding, Voltaren ActiPro should only be used on the advice of a doctor, as diclofenac passes into breast milk in small amounts. However, Voltaren ActiPro should not be applied to the breasts by breastfeeding mothers, nor elsewhere on large areas of skin or for a longer period of time

Driving and using machines:
Voltaren ActiPro does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

How to take:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

For adults and adolescents over 14 years of age:
Apply Voltaren ActiPro 3 or 4 times a day to the painful area.

Composition:
- The active substance is diclofenac diethylamine. One gram of gel contains 11.6 mg of diclofenac diethylamine, corresponding to 10 mg of diclofenac sodium. This medicine contains 50 mg of propylene glycol and 1 mg of benzyl benzoate per gram of gel.
- The other ingredients are: carbomers, macrogol cetostearyl ether, cocoyl caprylyl caprate, diethylamine, isopropyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, cream perfume 45 (containing benzyl benzoate), propylene glycol, purified water.
