Indications:
Colebil is indicated for adults and children over 7 years of age as an adjunct treatment in dyspeptic disorders attributed to bile deficiency in the intestine, as well as in chronic constipation.
Colebil contains a combination of substances used as a replacement medication in gallbladder therapy (which compensates for bile deficiency).

Contraindications:
Do not use Colebil:
- if you are allergic to bovine bile, methenamine, sodium salicylate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Colebil, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

There are no clinical data on the use of Colebil in pregnant women. The medicine will be prescribed with caution during pregnancy.
Salicylates are excreted in milk. Therefore, administration is not recommended during breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines:
Colebil does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Method of administration:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults: 1-3 tablets 2-3 times a day.

Children over 7 years: 1 tablet 2-3 times a day.

It is taken orally after main meals.

The usual duration of a course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

Composition:
- The active substances are bovine bile, methenamine, sodium salicylate. One dragee contains bovine bile 100 mg, methenamine 50 mg, sodium salicylate 90 mg.
- The other ingredients are: core - light magnesium carbonate, heavy magnesium carbonate, sugar, talc, peppermint oil; coating - povidone K25, talc, sugar, titanium dioxide (E 171), corn starch, gelatin, calcium carbonate, micronized carnauba wax.
