Indications:
Defebryl 500 mg tablets belong to the group of analgesic-antipyretic drugs (relieves pain and reduces body temperature in case of fever).
Defebryl 500 mg tablets are indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever and for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain with different localizations: headache, joint or back pain, toothache, pain during the menstrual cycle.

Contraindications:
Do not use Defebryl 500 mg tablets:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of Defebryl 500 mg.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
At short-term therapeutic doses, the drug can be administered during pregnancy, but administration will be done only after assessing the therapeutic benefit to the mother in relation to the potential risk to the fetus.
Paracetamol crosses the placenta and is excreted in breast milk, at a rate of 1–2% of the ingested dose. Caution is recommended when administering paracetamol during breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines:
Paracetamol does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Method of administration:
Always use Defebryl 500 mg tablets exactly as your doctor has told you. You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults and children over 12 years of age: 500-1000 mg paracetamol (1-2 Defebryl 500 mg tablets) at 4-hour intervals, administered as needed. Administration at intervals of less than 4 hours is not recommended. The maximum recommended dose for adults is 4 g paracetamol (8 Defebryl 500 mg tablets) per day.

Children aged 6-12 years: the dose is 60 mg/kg per day, divided into equal doses, for example 15 mg/kg and taken every 6 hours or 10 mg/kg and taken every 4 hours.
It is not recommended to take the medicine at intervals of less than 4 hours. No more than 4 doses should be taken per day.

Children under 6 years: a pharmaceutical form appropriate for the age should be used.

In case of severe kidney damage, the interval between two doses should be at least 8 hours.
It is recommended to take the medicine with a sufficient amount of liquid (approximately 200 ml for an adult, if possible).
