Aflamil 60g - to relieve inflammation

Indications:
Aflamil cream is used in the local treatment of all types of pain and inflammation with various musculoskeletal causes, including traumatic injuries. It can be used to relieve inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints, in case of dislocations, strains or bruises, as well as in the treatment of lumbago, stiff neck (torticollis) and inflammation of the tissues around the joints (periarthritis).

Aflamil cream contains aceclofenac as the active substance.

Aceclofenac has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic action.

Contraindications:
Do not use Aflamil:
- if you are allergic to aceclofenac or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Aflamil, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
The use of Aflamil is not recommended during pregnancy and breast-feeding.

Driving and using machines:
Aflamil cream has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.

How to use:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is 1.5-2 g of cream, depending on the size of the affected area (approximately 5-7 cm), applied three times a day, by gently massaging into the affected skin area.

This medicine is for external use only and should not be used under occlusive dressings.
Wash your hands after application, unless the treated area is on the hands.

Use in children and adolescents:
No data are available.

Use in the elderly:
No dose adjustment is necessary in the elderly.

Composition:
- The active substance is aceclofenac. One gram of cream contains 15 mg of aceclofenac.
- The other ingredients are: emulsifying wax (cetostearyl alcohol, polysorbate), liquid paraffin, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E 216), purified water.
