Canephron Oral Drops 100 ml – Urinary Tract Support

Indications:
Canephron oral drops (solution) is a traditional herbal medicinal product. It is used as a supportive therapy alongside specific medication for mild symptoms of inflammatory diseases of the lower urinary tract and for the prevention of kidney stone formation in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older.
This traditional herbal medicinal product is used for the specified indications based exclusively on long-standing use.

Contraindications:
Do not use Canephron:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to centaury herb, lovage root, rosemary leaf, other plants of the Apiaceae (Umbelliferae) family (e.g., anise, fennel), anethole (a component of anise and fennel essential oils), or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
- if you have a gastric or duodenal ulcer;
- if you have inflammatory kidney diseases;
- if you have renal insufficiency.
- High fluid intake is contraindicated in cases of swelling of the lower limbs due to impaired kidney or heart function.

Precautions:
In case of persistent fever, or if spasms, blood in the urine, urinary disorders, or acute urinary retention occur, consult a doctor immediately.
Children
This medicine must not be administered to children under 12 years of age.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. As a precautionary measure, Canephron should not be used during pregnancy.
It is not known whether Canephron or its active substances/metabolites are excreted in human milk.
Canephron must not be used during breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines:
No studies have been conducted on the effects on the ability to drive or use machines.

Method of administration:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Canephron oral drops (solution) are taken 3 times a day, as shown in the table below.
To ensure correct dosing, use the measuring cup with appropriate graduations attached to the bottle.

Use in children
This medicine must not be given to children under 12 years of age.
Canephron oral drops (solution) are taken in the morning, at midday, and in the evening. If necessary, they may be taken with other liquids (e.g., a glass of water).
It is important to drink plenty of fluids during treatment.
Shake the bottle before use.

- The active substances are: *Centaurii herba* (centaury herb), *Levistici radix* (lovage root), *Rosmarini folium* (rosemary leaf).
One ml of oral drops, solution contains: extract (1:56) from 0.018 g of a mixture of *Centaurii herba* (centaury herb), *Levistici radix* (lovage root), and *Rosmarini folium* (rosemary leaf) (1:1:1); extraction solvents: ethanol 59% (v/v), water.
One ml of oral drops, solution contains 15 drops.
