Septolete Omni Cola 16 Lozenges – Sore Throat Relief

Indications:
Septolete omni cola contains the active substances benzidamine hydrochloride and cetylpyridinium chloride.
Septolete omni cola is an anti-inflammatory, analgesic (pain-relieving), and antiseptic (prevents the spread of pathogens) medicine for use in the oral cavity. Septolete omni cola disinfects the oral and pharyngeal mucosa and reduces signs of throat inflammation, such as pain, redness, swelling, heat, and functional impairment.

Septolete omni cola is used for the short-term local anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antiseptic treatment of irritations of the throat, mouth, and gums (including gingivitis and pharyngitis) in adults and children over 6 years of age.
If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 3 days, you must consult a doctor.

Contraindications:
Do not take Septolete omni cola:
- if you are allergic to benzidamine hydrochloride, cetylpyridinium chloride, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Septolete omni cola.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Septolete omni cola is not recommended during pregnancy. You should discuss breastfeeding with your doctor, and they will decide whether you should stop breastfeeding or discontinue treatment with Septolete omni cola.

Driving and using machines:
Septolete omni cola does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Method of administration:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults:
The recommended dose is 3–4 lozenges per day. The lozenge should be dissolved slowly in the mouth at intervals of 3 to 6 hours.

Adolescents over 12 years of age:
The recommended dose is 3–4 lozenges per day. The lozenge should be dissolved slowly in the mouth at intervals of 3 to 6 hours.

Children aged 6 to 12 years:
The recommended dose is 3 lozenges per day. The lozenge should be dissolved slowly in the mouth at intervals of 3 to 6 hours. An adult should supervise the administration of the lozenges to children aged 6 to 12 years.

Children under 6 years of age:
Septolete omni cola must not be given to children under 6 years of age.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Do not take Septolete omni cola immediately before or during meals or the consumption of liquids.
Do not eat or drink for at least one hour after taking the medicine.
Use of the medicine immediately before or after brushing your teeth is not recommended. Duration of treatment:
Do not use this medicine for more than 7 days. If symptoms worsen or no benefit is observed after 3 days, or if other symptoms occur (e.g., fever), consult your doctor.
Consult your doctor if the condition recurs or if you notice any change in the characteristics of the condition.

Composition:

- The active substances are: benzydamine hydrochloride and cetylpyridinium chloride. Each lozenge contains 3 mg of benzydamine hydrochloride and 1 mg of cetylpyridinium chloride.
- The other ingredients are: citric acid (E 330), sucralose (E 955), natural cola flavour (containing benzyl alcohol (E 1519), butylhydroxyanisole (E 320)), caramel colour (E 150a), isomalt (E 953).
