Indications:
Bromfluex 8 mg tablets are part of the group of medicines for the treatment of cough and cold, expectorants exclusively in combination with antitussives, mucolytics.
Bromfluex 8 mg tablets are used as a fluidifier of bronchial secretions during acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases accompanied by viscous secretions: acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, tracheobronchitis, exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchiectasis.

Contraindications:
Do not use Bromfluex 8 mg:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to bromhexine or any of the other components of the medicine.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
Contact your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
There are no data on the teratogenic or embryotoxic potential of bromhexine when administered to animals. Bromhexine hydrochloride passes into breast milk. As a precautionary measure, bromhexine is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.

Driving and using machines:
Bromhexine hydrochloride does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Method of administration:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults: 8–16 mg of bromhexine hydrochloride is administered orally three times a day.

Children over 10 years: 8 mg of bromhexine hydrochloride (1 tablet of Bromfluex 8 mg) is administered orally three times a day.
Children between 6 and 10 years: 4 mg of bromhexine hydrochloride (1/2 tablet of Bromfluex 8 mg) is administered orally three times a day.
For children under 10 years of age, age-appropriate concentrations and pharmaceutical forms are recommended.

If after 5 days of treatment there is no improvement in symptoms, the patient should see a doctor, who will reassess the treatment.

Composition:
- The active substance is bromhexine hydrochloride. Each tablet contains 8 mg of bromhexine hydrochloride.
- The other ingredients are: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, talc.
