Indications:
Ketifexin is used for the symptomatic and short-term treatment of mild to moderate pain, such as:
- headaches;
- toothaches;
- menstrual pain;
- pain after minor sprains and dislocations.

Contraindications:
Do not take Ketifexin if:
- you are allergic to ketoprofen or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Ketifexin.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
Do not take Ketifexin during the last three months of pregnancy.
Do not take Ketifexin during the first 6 months of pregnancy, unless your doctor considers it necessary.
Breast-feeding is not recommended if you are taking Ketifexin. It is not known whether ketoprofen is excreted in breast milk.
Tell your doctor if you are planning to become pregnant or if you are unable to become pregnant. Medicines such as ketoprofen may make it more difficult to get pregnant.

Driving and using machines:
In general, Ketifexin does not affect your ability to drive or use machines. However, if you experience side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, seizures or visual disturbances, do not drive or use machines.

How to take:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents over 16 years of age
Ketifexin 25 mg granules for oral solution in sachet
One sachet 1-3 times a day
Ketifexin 50 mg granules for oral solution in sachet
Half a two-compartment sachet (one compartment) 1-3 times a day or a whole two-compartment sachet 1-2 times a day

The interval between doses should not be less than 8 hours.

Composition:
- The active substance is ketoprofen. Each two-compartment sachet contains 50 mg ketoprofen, equivalent to 80 mg ketoprofen lysinate.
- The other ingredients are mannitol (E421), povidone, mint flavor (contains maltodextrin and acacia gum), sodium chloride, sodium saccharin, colloidal anhydrous silica.
