Ser Efedrinat 10 ml – Nasal Drops for Congestion Relief & Sinus Comfort

Indications:
Ephedrine Serum 10 mg/ml contains ephedrine hydrochloride, the active substance with a decongestant effect.
The medicine is used in the symptomatic treatment of acute rhinitis and sinusitis, vasomotor rhinitis, edema following endonasal surgery.

Contraindications:
Do not use Ephedrine Serum 10 mg/ml:
- if you are allergic to ephedrine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Ephedrine Serum 10 mg/ml, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Ephedrine Serum 10 mg/ml can be used during pregnancy only on the advice of your doctor.
Ephedrine hydrochloride is excreted in breast milk. This medicine is not recommended during breast-feeding, due to the risk of cardiovascular side effects (tachycardia) in the infant.

Driving and using machines:
Ephedrine serum 10 mg/ml does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

How to use:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

One ml of nasal drops solution contains 10 mg of ephedrine hydrochloride.
One ml of solution contains 30 drops.

Adults: the usual dose is 3-4 drops, in each nostril, 3 times/day, for 4-5 days.
Administration of ephedrine hydrochloride for a period longer than 7 days may cause nasal congestion due to local irritant action.

Composition:
- The active substance is ephedrine hydrochloride 10 mg/ml. One ml contains 5 mg ephedrine hydrochloride.
