Sindolor Gel 170 g – Muscle & Joint Pain Relief

Indications:
Sindolor gel is a medication that relieves inflammation and pain.

Sindolor gel is indicated for adults and children over the age of 15 for the treatment of inflammatory or post-traumatic conditions affecting joints and soft tissues, including dislocations, sprains, contusions, muscle strains, meniscus disorders, tenosynovitis, contractures, and hematomas (bruises).

Contraindications:
Do not use Sindolor gel:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to piroxicam, acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride, lidocaine, or any of the other ingredients of this medication.

Precautions:
Before using Sindolor gel, talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medication.
To date, there is no relevant epidemiological data regarding the use of Sindolor gel during pregnancy.
The use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (piroxicam) poses a risk to the fetus—specifically the occurrence of malformations, particularly during the last trimester of pregnancy. Furthermore, there is insufficient data regarding the use of cyclobenzaprine during pregnancy. Therefore, Sindolor gel is not recommended for pregnant women during the first two trimesters of pregnancy and is contraindicated during the third trimester. Due to the excretion of piroxicam and lidocaine—and likely cyclobenzaprine—into breast milk, Sindolor gel is not recommended during breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines:
When used as recommended, Sindolor gel does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Method of administration:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Use in adults and children over 15 years of age:
Apply Sindolor gel to the painful area. It takes effect within 15 minutes, providing pain relief for an extended period of up to 12 hours. The recommended dose is 0.5 g – 1 g of gel (approximately 3–4 cm) twice daily; massage gently until fully absorbed into the skin.

The duration of treatment depends on the type of condition and the clinical course. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days of treatment, consult your doctor, who will re-evaluate the treatment.

Use in children and adolescents under 15 years of age:
Sindolor gel is not recommended for use in these age groups due to a lack of data regarding safety and efficacy.

Composition:
- The active substances are: piroxicam, cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride, and lidocaine. One gram of gel contains 5 mg of piroxicam, 5 mg of cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride, and 20 mg of lidocaine.
- The other ingredients are: carbomer 980, trolamine, d-panthenol, 96% ethanol, propylene glycol, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E218), n-propyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E216), and purified water.
