Klimadynon 60 Tablets – Menopause Symptom Relief

Indications:
Klimadynon 2.8 mg film-coated tablets is a herbal medicinal product indicated for adult women to relieve menopausal symptoms, such as hot flushes and profuse sweating.

Contraindications:
Do not take Klimadynon:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to *Cimicifuga racemosa* or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Klimadynon.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
Use of Klimadynon is not recommended during pregnancy. It is still possible to become pregnant when menopausal symptoms occur; therefore, it is recommended to use effective contraceptive measures during treatment with Klimadynon.
It is not known whether the active substance in Klimadynon is excreted in human milk. Klimadynon should not be used during breastfeeding.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.

Driving and using machines:
No studies have been conducted on the effects on the ability to drive or use machines.

Method of administration:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is:
For adult menopausal women, the usual dose is one film-coated tablet twice daily, in the morning and evening (maximum dose: 2 film-coated tablets per day).

Method of administration:
For oral use. Take the film-coated tablets with a sufficient amount of liquid. Do not chew or suck.

Duration of treatment:
If symptoms persist during treatment with this medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Klimadynon should not be used for more than 6 months without medical advice.

Use in children and adolescents:
There is no relevant use of Klimadynon film-coated tablets in children and adolescents for the given therapeutic indication.

Special patient groups:
There is insufficient data regarding the recommended dose for patients with impaired kidney or liver function.
Patients with a history of liver disease should not use Klimadynon without medical advice.

Composition:
- The active substance is:
1 film-coated tablet contains: 2.8 mg of dry extract from black cohosh rhizome (Cimicifuga racemosa (L.) Nutt., rhizoma) (5-10:1)
Extraction solvent: ethanol 58% (v/v)
- The other ingredients are: Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate; ammonium methacrylate copolymer, type A, 30% dispersion (Eudragit RL 30D); red iron oxide (E 172); yellow iron oxide (E 172); lactose monohydrate; macrogol 6000; magnesium stearate (vegetable); potato starch; sodium hydroxide; sorbic acid; talc; titanium dioxide (E171).
